Pete lanzó, ademas de Babyshambles, varios proyectos y singles durante el 2004. compuesto junto a su amigo Wolfman (¿quién?), For Lovers fué el mas entrañable y rompecorazones de todos aquellos singles.
Pete todavía rememora sus tiempos en la cárcel: "i paid the penalty/ hear the jailor/ rattling the key/ but the key was mine/ i keep a spare one everytime", y logra conquistar a los británicos... mientras su relación con The Libertines se tambaleaba.

La canción es muy bonita, la descubrí el otro día por casualidad y dados mis fanismos por este hombre o lo que queda de él me encontraba con el deber de ponerla aquí
